My family has firsthand experience with autism, which has given us a deeper understanding, perspective, and appreciation for the challenges and strengths that come with it. Autism is a lifelong condition, and it is important to recognize that individuals of all ages can be diagnosed. While approximately one child in a hundred is diagnosed with autism, many people receive their diagnosis later in life.
